Richbuilt Homes is basically a showcase for, well, Richbuilt homes. They came to me wanting some web presence, where potential buyers could browse listings and view prior homes built to ensure the quality of the company.

They didn’t want to rely on me (or any other web extraordinaire) in order to make updates to the site. Which, of course, is how I prefer it to be. So I built them a small admin side that allowed them to update just about all of the “moving parts” on their own.

In terms of the design itself, I think the most difficult part was to incorporate their logo. I knew I didn’t want to base the site on white and blue, so I took a chance that the logo would blend in. It actually doesn’t blend in, but I think fits. They wanted it to be a dominant attribute of the design, so the fact that it stands out was a good thing.

This site was built using Ruby on Rails.
