Adding/Removing Stuff

All throughout the edit profile mode you’ll notice the “Add New” and “Delete” links (or buttons). Since the sub-tabs are really just sectioning off one gigantic multi-model form, with a normalized database there needed to be a way to add/remove the “has_many’s” within this form. It’s all handled via javascript, so the interface is responsive. This is just one particular example: higher education. The same interface applies to jobs, tasks, emails, messenger accounts, etc.

NASA Footprints is an application we are building for NASA. It fits in nicely with their recent redesign.

The name “Footprints” came from the idea of tracking, if that makes sense (wasn’t my idea). The whole application really revolves around user profiles and user management. NASA will use it to maintain the history of their interns and the various programs they were (or are currently) involved in.

This first run is more-or-less a demo/prototype, but it’s fully functional thus far. It has been handed off to a focus group in order to collect more feedback and provide better direction for the future. I’ll post more updates/screenshots here as the application builds out.
