Contact information is somewhat important to this profiling system. Mainly because it’s important to the client (NASA).

Concerning the emails, if there’s only one email it will become the primary. If there’s more than that, the user should specify (or it will just keep the first one added as primary). The reason it’s important is because the system will send emails and will allow Managers/Admins to send emails, as well.

NASA Footprints is an application we are building for NASA. It fits in nicely with their recent redesign.

The name “Footprints” came from the idea of tracking, if that makes sense (wasn’t my idea). The whole application really revolves around user profiles and user management. NASA will use it to maintain the history of their interns and the various programs they were (or are currently) involved in.

This first run is more-or-less a demo/prototype, but it’s fully functional thus far. It has been handed off to a focus group in order to collect more feedback and provide better direction for the future. I’ll post more updates/screenshots here as the application builds out.
