Comment Search

This is the result of a comment search. If you notice the search box in the sidebar to the right, you will see a few options to narrow your search. The options will appear when clicking the search box.

To search comments, just do “comment: text”. In this case, it was “comment: life”. I actually need to remove the title/body options, as that is the default (there’s really no reason to limit a search by title, but I suppose it’s not hurting anything).

This is my personal site. It’s nothing special, but as a web developer, I feel that it’s important for me to have. I mostly ramble about programming-related issues, which works out because I often go back and reference them later. Plus, I’ve received a ton of help over the years via the comments.

I don’t like to think of myself as a “blogger”. I actually despise that word. I rarely say it (I don’t really like having the “Blog” link in the footer of this very portfolio, but it’s a common buzzword that most people are now aware of). I do enjoy writing, but if I wasn’t a web developer/designer, I wouldn’t be writing (or “blogging”) at all.

This site was built in Ruby on Rails and is running Rails 2.0.2 at the time of this writing. The code base is also a RESTful design.
