This is the same content that was on my last site. The only difference here, is that I’m pulling my public github projects in by scraping the HTML on github. I’m then caching that stuff, of course. Github can have a tendency to be sort of slow, and I didn’t want that to hinder load times.

Responsibilities Design, CSS, XHTML, Database, jQuery, Ruby, Rails, etc.

Yet another rebuild. This is the fifth version (that I’ve taken screenshots of — there were 2 or 3 versions prior to that).

While I’m happy with the design, I’m even more pleased with how well the code turned out behind the scenes. I’ve applied all of the latest tips, tricks, and best-practices that I’m aware of. I’m using nearly all of my plugins, and jQuery for the javascript. Everything is very clean at this point.

One thing that I gave up this time around was support for IE6. I’m tired of dealing with that browser, so I didn’t. I have no regrets.

The site is running on Rails 2.1.1 (soon to be 2.2), which is the latest version at the time of this writing.
