In a tool like this reporting is vital. Initially, there are two reports made available to managers:

  1. Deficient competencies
  2. Deficient employees

Deficient competencies will show the manager all of the areas where the company has deficiencies. Where a deficiency means a user has fallen short on a particular area of his/her job based on a recent review. From there, the manager can automatically get recommended training from NLA based on the results of the review.

Deficient employees sort of reverses the data on the first report, and shows the employees who are deficient in terms of their competencies, instead of the competencies themselves. This is beneficial for focusing on individuals within the company.
