Editing a Screen

Screens are where the content actually lives. It’s the lowest level of the tree, and is also where the demo came to a halt.

The sidebar to the left lists all the screens associated with the current screen’s learning object (essentially shows the whole “group”). The drag-n-drop reordering exists, here, too. Clicking a screen will show a preview of that screen, and of course you can “Edit” or “X” (delete) a screen.

At this point in time, the user could only add textual content to a screen. But there were big plans for the screen section. A custom templating system was designed that would allow various “cells” so to speak. Each cell could be a different piece of content. For instance, one cell could be all text, another could be an image, or a video, or whatever. It was even considered to attach supplemental materials (e.g. PDF’s) to a screen. But this is still just a demo-ish version, so requirements will change I’m sure, along with the design.
