This is the means by which I login to the portfolio. You can get it to popup by scratching your elbow, raising one eyebrow, and coughing twice. Not really. That’s actually a secret that isn’t very secretive at all.

I’m using jQuery for the javascript that powers all the AJAX and UI goodies on this site. So, that means I’m also able to use facebox, which is what that happens to be.

I’ve been longing for a place to store a few of the noteworthy projects I’ve had a hand in. I’m glad I finally took the time to develop a stand-alone digital portfolio.

I decided to add photos and art to my portfolio as well. I have several framed drawings and paintings that I’ve done, but getting them to a digital format will be challenging (mostly because I’m too lazy to do it). So, don’t expect too many artsy entries, it will be mostly photographs.

This application is a RESTful design and built using Ruby on Rails. I’m using jQuery instead of the standard prototype/script.aculo.us in which all the Rails helpers are built upon.

And as for the grunge look with the paint splatters and coffee stains, who knows. I tried something new and just ran with it. Overall, I think it turned out pretty good.
