My email is used by the portfolio for sending me notifications (such as a new contact). Plus it shows up somewhere else, too, but I can’t remember at the moment.

Anyway, this is how I update my information, including my resume. Also, toggling the checkbox to “off” will turn the contact form into some goofy message saying how I’m too busy at the moment and please try back in a few weeks. Or something.

I’ve been longing for a place to store a few of the noteworthy projects I’ve had a hand in. I’m glad I finally took the time to develop a stand-alone digital portfolio.

I decided to add photos and art to my portfolio as well. I have several framed drawings and paintings that I’ve done, but getting them to a digital format will be challenging (mostly because I’m too lazy to do it). So, don’t expect too many artsy entries, it will be mostly photographs.

This application is a RESTful design and built using Ruby on Rails. I’m using jQuery instead of the standard prototype/script.aculo.us in which all the Rails helpers are built upon.

And as for the grunge look with the paint splatters and coffee stains, who knows. I tried something new and just ran with it. Overall, I think it turned out pretty good.
