Art Birthday Rose

This was (I think?) my last water color painting. I painted this as a gift for Amie on her 20th birthday. I added the date early that morning so that the painting was actually completed on her birthday (I know, cheesy).

Regardless of how this turned out, I really took my time on it. Each piece of the rose means something different (in the traditional sense), which is why it’s quartered off like it is.

In retrospect, the green is too green; I should’ve chosen something more realistic.
