What is this?

It's what I do

In addition to my design expertise, I'm a programmer. I write code every day. It's only fitting to have my public projects present on my portfolio, as it's a large part of what I do.

What is a fork?

A project fork means that someone else has "cloned" my project in order to tailor it to their specific needs.

In addition to that, Git (and GitHub) provide a nice interface for combining work of multiple developers. So it's common for someone to fork a project, make changes, then request those changes be pulled into the master branch.

What is a watcher?

A watcher indicates that another developer is keeping an eye on a particular project because he or she is interested in its development.

It also could be said that it's an off-kilter way of measuring popularity (emphasis on off-kilter).
